ABOUT ME

“Creating Spaces Where People Feel Seen, Safe, and Supported”

My Work Commences Where Others Have Overlooked Opportunities

I am a trauma-informed inclusion practitioner dedicated to cultivating environments characterised by safety, belonging, and emotional clarity within both individuals and organisations. My methodology integrates principles of psychology, coaching, and personal experience with innovative, motif-driven tools designed to empower individuals to build grounding and understanding.

My area of expertise focuses on providing support to women, minority ethnic communities, neurodivergent adults, and individuals encountering discrimination, crises, or identity-related stress.

With extensive experience in Health and Social Care, Housing, and Employee Coaching, I have cultivated a profound understanding of the complexities inherent in these roles and their significant impact on individuals and workplace dynamics.

Another critical aspect of my work is the emphasis on resilience building. I believe that fostering resilience is essential for individuals and communities to navigate challenges and thrive in the face of adversity. By implementing tailored resilience training programs, I help participants develop coping strategies, enhance their emotional intelligence, and cultivate a growth mindset. This not only empowers them to overcome personal and professional obstacles but also strengthens the collective resilience of the communities they belong to, creating a ripple effect of positive change.

My Work

I develop practical and accessible tools designed to promote inclusion and wellbeing. My offerings include the Microaggression Survival Workbook, the Coral Bay – A Journey to Self-Discovery ebook, and various digital wellbeing resources tailored for both individuals and organisations.

What I Offer

  •

  • Trauma-Informed Inclusion Support

  • Emotional Literacy Tools

  • Behaviour and Well-Being Strategies

  • Cultural Competence and Anti-Racism

  • Coaching and Reflective Practice

  • Creative Resource Design

  • Motif-Driven Storytelling

For years, I have witnessed individuals internalising harm they did not cause:

- Microaggressions often dismissed as mere "misunderstandings"

- Burnout wrongly viewed as a personal failure

- Cultural identity frequently questioned or minimised

- Neurodivergence misunderstood and overlooked

- Women over 40 made to feel invisible

- Professionals in crisis left without the tools or language to express their struggles

I established this practice to transform that narrative.

Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported — at work, at home, and within themselves.

Why This Work Matters

A significant number of individuals are navigating systems that were not originally designed with their needs in mind.

My professional focus is on those who are frequently marginalised, providing tools, language, and support that are:

- Culturally authentic

- Emotionally grounded

- Accessible and practical

- Non-hierarchical

- Rooted in lived experience and professional expertise

This approach transcends conventional corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

This represents genuine inclusion, developed with compassion and clarity.

Focused on clients

I employ a motif-driven, emotionally resonant framework inspired by the concepts of safe harbours, thresholds, and guiding lights—symbols that embody transition, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

Anticipate the following:

- An atmosphere of warmth, devoid of jargon

- A commitment to honesty, free from judgement

- Practical tools that can be implemented immediately

- An environment where your identity is respected and affirmed

“Margaret helped me understand patterns I’d normalised for years. I feel stronger, clearer, and more confident at work.”

“Our team finally has language for things we’ve been struggling with. The training was eye‑opening and practical.”

"I can't say enough about the outstanding service I received from Margaret."
